The owner of SOMP, Savita Singh, has always been a creative person, who loved to make a room look its best. It was when she found herself in the midst of several grand weddings, that a second career choice came to mind. After being a part of several weddings, she noticed it got expensive and couldn’t understand how some vendors could charge so much for their services. Once the word “wedding” was mentioned, the prices seemed to shoot up. By cutting costs for friends and family, she would volunteer her time in helping out with the planning and flowers.
Savita was not just the friend or family member, she was the planner, the florist and just someone you can count on…and that’s how SOMP was created!
