Well lets just say I tried to book LeSonne for my wedding and pretty much was forgotten about. Initially I contacted them by email and was called upon (pretty fast) regarding available dates, their services, price etc. Seemed like great customer service to me! The owner was very nice and understanding by giving her opinions about hair and makeup. I was suppose to go in for trial during the weekday and it just didnt work out (she was running late with another trial and I didnt want to go over around 9pm for my trial). So we decided we would rebook it. i was told to text her back (since she knew i needed a trial) well I texted her couple of days later and even called requesting to meet for a trial and never got a response....never got an email or even a followup call!! I mean I find that unprofessional------ I started looking into other artists that have the time and effort to cater to their customers! Plus I found this site and read the reviews and boy was I glad I didnt bother calling repeatedly to get a trial!

I went for a make-up trial and I felt it was waste of money and time. They ask way too many questions on what you want. As a make-up artiest I expect them to tell me what will look good on me when i show them my wedding outfit and jewelery. They want to pretty much draw and tell them colour I want, lip colour I want...I might as well do all myself. And she did terrible job with my make-up.

inexperienced ladies. seems like they dont even have a licence to do the job. The owner is too pushy and adds additional pieces adding additional charges at the end.

Hi Just a note..I think this company has changed names to LeSonne Bridal. The owner is the same Ruchika.... I haven't used their service.

I had a terrible experience with Zilo Hair Art. I haven't seen so much backteasing since the 80's. This wouldn't be a big deal, if I had asked for it, but they did it without asking my permission. The result: I had a patch of hair freyed and missing from my crown. On top of that, the girls working on my hair kept switching, and each time the owner (Ruchika) would come back to my head or the other girl would, they felt the need to "redo" the other person's job.. soo, my hair was furiously pinned, de-pinned, sprayed, combed out, teased, de-teased for about 45 minutes. Zilo Hair art is basically a team of hair stylists led by the owner. This is great if you have a huge wedding party or a huge group of people. However, it's not great if you expect quality. The girls (aside from the owner) don't really care what they're doing to your hair (since there is zero ownership on their part), and it's obvious every time the owner has to restart on your head or ask her stylists to watch. It seemed like the majority of stylists aren't certified and they are just learning on the job. The owner is very friendly and very eager though, so if you really need to, try to book her and not her "team" of stylists.
